“Worst garbage company we have ever delt with! We live at the end of a dead end street and only my neighbor and I had Republic. If my neighbor didn't have his trash out they wouldn't even come down our road. I report a missed pick up and it ends up being ignored. Then during the last snow storm we went weeks without pickup. I understand the first week. But the second week every other company on the road got picked up but us. Then on our pickup day this week at around 8:30 am, I just happened to be looking at my cameras and saw they picked up our neighbors trash, but not ours. I was livid. I called and they said they were on their way. They finally picked up at 1:00! If I hadn't called right then and there I bet they wouldn't have came. Also they leave trash EVERYWHERE. I come home after pickup and I am removing trash from the road that they left. Lastly, they hike up the prices. I called once and asked why it's so high, they dropped me down to 75 every 3 months. I paid that once then I was back to $120 every three months. So, I did cancel and when I did I was told I'd have to pay $100 for trash can removal. I laughed and said I won't be paying that. Then was told "well they need to use a separate vehicle to come get it" well I wasn't charged to use that vehicle to receive it? Its a mess. Go to hometown save the headache. I paid $300 for a whole year of service with them and customer service was far superior.”
“If I could give this company 0 stars I would absolutely do it. THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST SANITATION COMPANY IN EXISTENCE!!!. I have lived at my current residence for almost a decade with never having any issues with my prior trash/ recycling services. That is until this company took over for my area- they consistently miss pick up days, bring you retired containers that they won’t pick up and refuse to pick up any other trash can that isn’t marked when your recycling is overflowing due to missed pick up days. I have been dealing with this issue off and on since November. It’s honestly the worst if I could swap them out I would’ve done so. Horrible service”
“Our garbage service was delayed a day due to weather and that’s expected however, I did not expect them to come through on the regular pick up day. They failed to notify everyone about that so I called and was told they would come back around and pick it up which they did not. I called them back and they said it would be picked up either later that day or the next and it was not. I chatted with another representative that said missed pick ups with be Friday and of course they did not pick it up. I just talked to another rep today that said a missed pick was not created and it will be Monday. I’m not very optimistic about that either. I understand delays with weather but no need to lie to customers. Update: as I already anticipated, they did not pick up again Monday and after speaking with another customer service rep, the local division denied the pickup every time it was requested. Thanks for not relaying that message. Worst company ever. I am putting every bit of garbage out this week even if it’s piled up on the cans.”
“PLEASE READ BEFORE CHOOSING THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY: If there was a possible way to make this review a negative star -⭐️ rating I would because that's truly what they are worth. A one star ⭐️ is far more than what they deserve based on the reviews below and my experience with this company. On several occasions, this company has failed to collect trash during scheduled pick up times. When that happens ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, I have called and spoke with a customer service rep who ensured me that my trash 🗑️ will be picked up that day. However ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, my trash still wasn't picked up. Most recent missed picked happened last week, I contacted the customer service to report a missed pickup, and I was assured that the issue would be resolved promptly. However, the trash remained uncollected (I know shocking 😮 , right). To make matters worse, when I called again for an update, I was told to call back at a time when the office was closed. I thought that this company was just doing this to me and my family however after reading the many horrible reviews from this company from other customers it's clear that THIS company has repeatedly provided unreliable or misleading services. FINALLY, yesterday the company picked up my trash cans without providing a proper notice to me. Therefore currently, I do not have a trashcan to put both of my babies's dirty diapers or trash in. PLEASE NOTE-that my account is paid up for months in advance. TO ANYONE WHO IS CONCERNING THIS COMPANY PLEASE STOP 🛑 AND READ THIS AND THE BELOW REVIEWS. Each complaint is similar. The level of inconsistency and unprofessionalism is unacceptable.”
“Worst company ever do not waste your money. Was using hometown which is very good company they give you two trash cans but we changed to republic because we donthave a lot of trash experience is terrible we switching back to hometown. As i'm writing this comment now the trash still sitting here since 2 weeks. We called yesterday to ask why are we paying and trash not being pick up the lady said im sorry our driver is in area and we'll let him know to stop and pick it up lie nobody show up. Very ridiculous how a company will be taking your money and not doing the job. DO NOT DO NOT 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 this company is trashhhhhh”
