“I've had nothing but good experiences with USA Waste. One of those services that we tend to take for granted. The service is reliable and pickup time is quite consistent also. I can login anytime to see the schedule if I'm unsure whether it's recycling week. They are good about communicating any changes in scheduling due to holidays etc through email. I emailed once to ask a question about something I was unsure whether I could put in the regular trash, and got a prompt reply. Everyone on my street uses them so we all have barrels out on the same day which is nice.”

“**Edited for transparency based on their response. “The substantially lower price” mentioned is $45 per month for a normal barrel and $43 for half the size. Therefore only a two dollar per month savings. Bottom line is their pricing is still over 1 1/2 times more than other neighboring communities charge for waste pick up. Their service level response is that I can take my trash myself to the waste dump station… Nice! Maybe the company should just stop the monopolistic price gouging!** I've tried to get reasonable pricing from 3 different companies that all route back to USA. Price gouging in New Hartford, CT at its finest. Buy up the local companies to remove competition and charge $57 per month for residential pick up with recycling that only comes 2x per month. I asked about smaller bins... only $2 per month savings for half the size bin. I asked if I could pay the year in advance and save...Nope. Not one solution was offered to assist by Akiel.”

“Pick-up is always as scheduled. Problem: New load-lifters do not always close the barrels. This is a problem in bad weather when the barrels fill up with snow or rainwater.”

“I had republic for years than they were bad.I called usa and dumped republic.It"s been great ever sense and years later it"s still cheaper then i was paying republic.Better service for less,that"s USA.”
