Coeur d’Alene Garbage

“Terrible customer service. I have followed the Post Falls Recycling schedule for years and they stopped picking up my recycling despite paying for it 6 weeks ago. Never notified us that we are in the CDA, Hayden, Dalton and Rathdrum rural schedule despite us living in Post Falls. Update #1: Followed through with concerns via email provided only to be redirected back to the main office phone number because they don’t handle CDA Garbage. Tried to view my account online as suggested by the person at Coeur d’Alene garbage only to not be able to get into the account. It said There was no account set up for my email but when I try to set up an account, it said one already existed for my email. I feel like they just keep sending me in circles. Update #2: Post Falls Garbage called and made it right. We did have our recycle day correct and they made an error. Frustrating process but appreciate getting it sorted out.”

“Week after week they leave a garbage mess in my yard and street. Neither garbage or recycling emptied all the way. Everything is loose in there too. Drives too fast for a residential neighborhood. Barely shakes out the cans. I called this in and was told a Manager would call me back. I called to cancel later and again was told a Manager would call me as per protocol when someone cancels. Never received a call! Proof positive that management like their drivers, do not care!!! Since the dump is free and our area is also serviced by WM, you would think they would do a better job.”

“The service provided by Coeur d’Alene. Garbage/Republic is subpar at best. At least quarterly our trash or recycling is not picked up and when you call to request a pick up, the customer service is rude and unhelpful. I’ve seen recycling be dumped in trash trucks multiple times, as well. It’s disappointing that the City of Coeur d’Alene is contracting with this company.”

“This company is now called "REPUBLIC GARBAGE" but I cant find their page so its going here! BEWARE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE -HARD TO GET AHOLD OF ANYONE- WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR LITERALLY NO REASON! NO RESPECT FOR YOUR TIME! I called in to ask questions about adding recycling cardboard can to my business account. It took 4 times to call in order to get someone to even answer the phone. The woman who finally answered the phone had a snotty attitude about my question then 3 days later I got a bill for a bunch of additional charges WHEN I ENDED UP NOT MAKING ANY CHANGES WHATSOEVER! I got off the phone due to her attitude without getting my questions answered. Also after being put on hold 3 times for about 10 minutes each and her getting back on the line after laughing with someone else still unable to answer my questions. Very unprofessional! I tried to call back and speak with a supervisor and all the next woman who answered said was "uh oh" and hung up on me! All this of this instead of adding a recycling can!? Clean up your incompetent employees! It ruins your business! My next call will be to Waste Management and cancelling service with Republic/CDA garbage!”
