“I came to give a review hoping that a bad review would prompt action but it looks like this point is mute. Do NOT get this service. We have a dumpster on a 2 week schedule with pickups on Monday. It snowed over the weekend so I excused the late pickup. Called Tuesday, called Wednesday, called Friday...twice...always the same thing. We will pass this on to our crew. I call bull. The dumpster has been full for days. We are not forced to pile it up and around the dumpster. It's becoming a sanitary and safety issue. It's going to take a while for Casella to earn my trust again. In the meantime we will be looking for another dumpster service that hopefully will treat it customers like money paying clients we are.”
“There are city noise ordinances within the borough of pottstown for a reason, which trash collection is restricted during "quiet hours". That time doesn't start until 6am, but this is your truck in the ally next to my window waking my 7 month old. You're not the only company doing this, and he's been woken up almost every single day before 6, which is why I'm saying something. Please don't start collection before time stated by city ordinance. Edit: This truck has been collecting from the Salvation Army, but you don't need to know exactly where I live. The city noise ordinance covers the entire borough of pottstown, but here your truck is again at 0500 in the morning being exessively loud. You read and responded to my issue and did nothing to resolve it. We don't need to chat on the phone. We don't need to discuss garbage collection plans. It's YOUR responsibility to follow these city ordinances. And since there is proof that you've read the issue, responded, and chose not to look into it yourself (being YOUR responsibility), I will be looking into legal resolutions. Not only that, but look at the second video from 2:00 to 2:52 seconds. At 2:00 the container reaches the top, and for 52 seconds STRAIGHT the truck is straining without dumping. This is purposeful noise and quickly stepping from being unprofessional to harassment.”
“I have called this company’s customer service 6 times since December 18. Customer service is really nice and I know it’s not their fault but nothing has been taken care of. We moved into a rental property and I have called 6 times since December 18, 2025 to have the trash bins removed from the property since we have a different trash service. I have been told every time I call that there is a work order in to get the trash bins and every time I’m told they will be picked up the next day. The trash bins have been outside beside my garage since the first phone call was made. They can be seen from the road- they aren’t hidden behind a gate. Do I take these trash bins to the county dump to get them off my property? I hate having to be a “Karen” and leave this review but my god what do I have to do to get some assistance? Call the better business bureau?”
“Update** Thank you so much for you reply to my review..... let me clarify. I already called and spoke to your awful "customer service" where I had to spend a good portion of the call being questioned " is my trash unobstructed, is there anything in my trash that shouldn't be there, is it close to the curb, are the cans facing the correct way" why are you grilling me when i can look down my street and COUNT all of the unpicked up trash? Why are you assuming its my fault my trash isnt picked up. My review comment could have been copy and pasted from DOZENS of other complaints bc they are all the same yet you have the AUDACITY to waste more of my time instead of just apologizing for being absolutely awful at your job. I wish I could leave ZERO stars. The number of times I've had to call and chase down someone to pick up my trash or recycling is ridiculous. When they do manage to pick up they throw the trash cans where ever they please. Absolutely awful company and even worse customer service. I DO NOT reccomend. This waste company is worse than garbage.”
“My trash was not picked up this week. My reg scheduled day is Wednesday. I came home from work and called to see why my trash was still on the curb. They said due to the snow on Monday they were behind a day. I was told that it would be picked up Thursday. Thursday came and it was still at the curb. I sent an email and was told that it would be picked up Friday. Here we are and its still out on the curb. I sent am email about 230pm and still no reply. Im sure my neighbors are wondering what the hell is going on since my trash can and bags are still there. I paid for a service that isn't being fulfilled!!!!! Going to start shopping for another hauler.”
