“Their dumpster has been sitting at a neighbor's house for SIX MONTHS. It's filled with kitchen garbage bags, and is surrounded by a wall of flies. The placement means that the neighbor can't access his driveway so he trespasses on the neighboring driveway to get onto the back of his property, and harrasses anyone whose car is parked in his way. The dumpster also makes a convenient cover for any illegal activities to be blocked from street view. I've called Midway to explain the situation, and learned the total charge, that the neighbor has NO intention to pay. They still refuse to move it. Clearly they're not making any money from that dumpster currently, so why let it keep sitting and overflowing with foul smelling garbage? EDIT for response: I understand a 1 star review is a bit underhanded and I'll take it down after you respond again. Just feeling a bit like there are no other options. "we are actively pursuing the matter through the appropriate channels and are committed to finding a solution" what exactly does this mean? If you're hoping to get money from the city I wouldn't count on it--the nuisance violation hearing just got pushed back another month. Columbia appears to have no interest in resolving the dumpster issues OR the fact that people have been squatting in a condemned house and RVs for months on that property.”
