“I have gotten 3 bulk pick ups in my years living in Boise. If you live in the county you get unlimited amounts of trash haul away for free. But in the city you get per item 6. 6 items per year. My stove broke so I called for a pick up, last min I had these items pictured not be able to fit in my can so I put them on top of the stove hoping they would be nice And take them too. I thought it was per trip, like you get 6 times. Anyways they were stacked neatly on top of the stove, this morning when I left for work. I get home on lunch and find them thrown in the road. I call customer service, she was apologetic and told me my complaint would be routed to management. Everything is getting too expensive. She said I was scheduled for only the stove and that's what they took. Common sense would see the other things are broke and couldn't fit into my trash bins. Instead of them putting the stuff in the grass, I found it in the road. What happened to niceness. Decency. Nope. Everyone is lazy, or price gouging. And our utility bills are no different. Some people don't like my signs of second amendment out front of my house either.. They probably think I'm some old white fascist.. But im not I'm a single native american woman with a busy life with work and kids. I feel grateful that our city is as clean as it is. But i just feel really sad that... something really simple took up too much time than it should've. The office wasn't open before I went to work to tell them about the other items, But I wasn't told to either. When I scheduled they just said I get 6 free pick ups a year. Not per item. Not 6 items per year. I feel petty. And like annoyed I feel the need to speak up. But I am, because why wasn't I told per item? And then to have my stuff thrown in the road. It doesn't weigh any at all. And they had to take it off the oven to get the oven..”
