“I’m very disappointed with the service from Casella. They completely missed a scheduled pickup and I was never given a clear explanation as to why. I had to wait another two weeks for the next scheduled pickup, which is unacceptable. I also never received a call back from the customer service manager, despite being told I would. In the meantime, my trash and recycling piled up and became a complete disaster. Animals got into the bags, making it even worse to deal with. Again, dont know why Casella missed a schelue time that i had to pay for.. This experience has been extremely frustrating. I expected better communication and reliability.”
“Beyond horrible service. Rude trash collectors, barrels thrown in the street, two trucks theoretically come, one for trash and one for recyclables if you are lucky. My recyclables have not been picked up in 2 weeks. My favorite story is a trash collector leaving the lid partially off of a full paper recyclable bin on a windy day. I ran out front as the lid and paper flew through the air. I guess he wanted to see if it was emptied? I have just changed services.”
“Would give zero stars but not an option. Constantly missing weekly pick-ups. Always an excuse. Offers discount to make up for it and never follows through. Would love to cancel but no other options in my town.”
“Although their trash service was good they have extremely poor communication and a very poor billing process. Months after I canceled service with them - after 4 emails and two phone conversations I am still getting charges from them to renew my service. This should not be the case as I have a zero balance - they never updated their system and continue to try to withdraw money from my account for a service that was discontinued months ago. Beware!!!”
“Unbelievable. I have tried calling for three days now to cancel my service. I've been on hold for 50 minutes now. I guess you can't cancel if you can't get a hold of them, right?”
