“We hired A1 for our residential service. In the beginning things were good but then the days started to shift all the time so we didn't know when they were coming and now they are skipping weeks. We have called several times with guarantees they would come pick up but they have not been here in over 14 days. I called to cancel service and get a refund for services not provided as was told they do not give refunds. I will be contacting the better business bureau to file a compliant. Would not recommend.”

“Horrible horrible services. I have scheduled pick ups....NEVER are they on time, and I don't mean by a couple hours BUT BY DAYS!!! When I call to ask what's going on I get excuses after excuses every time! This has been an issue for over 9 months! Finally my contract is up with them next week, but I would recommend NEVER using this company. Super rude staff and management. I've even had a driver of there's come into my bussiness and yell at me for getting him in trouble (because he marked off he had picked up our trash and had not). Called to complain about that an never heard back from them. We are switching to ABC and I've heard nothing, but amazing things from them. Again do not use this company!!”

“So I called to ask if there was someone that worked there that had been to my house before and I use their services and the girl at the desk answer the phone said hold on let me see then when she got back on the phone she said well what is the reason that you're calling about this person and I then gave her my personal information and experience of why I was looking for this person and then she proceeded to tell me that oh well we don't have anyone here by that name so and I said OK well why did you ask me that when I just gave out my personal information my legal name where I live my home and what the situation was when you don't even have person there that I'm looking for so yeah I don't appreciate them. I think that they need to get someone that knows what they're doing that knows etiquette. This isn't drama class. The girl is 18 years old and she shouldn't be answering the phone.”

“I called to set up residential service through A-1. The lady in the office and i set it up over the phone. I have had to call three weeks in a row to get my garbage/recycling picked up. Not once in three phone calls did they tell me that it could be 24 to 48 hours past Thursday (my pick up day) when they arrive. So i called a fourth time this afternoon to see if it was actually going to get picked up. I apparently spoke to the manager and he was extremely rude and pretty much pushed me off the phone. All he would say it "it will be taken care of." If you have any other choice ( we don't, as we live in the country and close to no one picks up recycling out here) i would go with someone else. Very disappointed.”
