“Absolutely terrible service. Waste Connections is the definition of “you get what you pay for.” Yes, they’re cheap, but it shows in every way that matters. Reaching customer service is a nightmare; expect to wait on hold for at least 45 minutes every time you call. That’s if you’re lucky enough not to get disconnected and have to start over. They routinely miss scheduled pickups, and on one occasion, they left trash uncollected for a week and a half at one of our residential properties. During that time, the trash bags began to rot, and maggots were literally crawling out, creating a serious health hazard for our residents. We had to call three separate times just to get someone to respond, and even then, they didn’t fully resolve the issue. When they finally did show up, they still left trash sitting outside the dumpster. This level of neglect is completely unacceptable for any company, especially one servicing residential communities. The only “positive” is their low price, but it’s not worth the frustration, delays, or risk to public health. Avoid them if you can.”
“Please stay away from Waste Connection. They make you sign their agreement for 60 months and keep raising charges with no prior notice. They will continuously charge you overage and make you increase your service. When I wanted to cancel service due to selling the property they would hold the containers hostage (would not cancel or pick up container) until 6 months of charges were paid. They never inform you of missed pick-ups and keep charging for overage when it was because they missed services. Please go to any other company as they are expensive and customer service will refer all calls to the sales rep and they are not very response and change continuously. Never do business with Waste Connection.”
“The driver came by two different days and would not pick up our trash. The dock area was treated with ice melt and very minimal ice was on the ground. When I called into customer service, they were not willing to assist after being on hold for 30 minutes. After asking to be transferred to a supervisor, I have now been on hold for 43 minutes. Very disappointed with Waste and cannot wait to cancel my contract”
“David Kinter did not want to replace my damaged windshield by truck 250025. How do you damage something and claim you aren’t liable.”
“I couldn't be more pleases with the service I have received from Waste connections and Francisco. I have been with many companies and decades and he is the only one I have received real old school service. High recommend asking for him if you are looking for a company.”
