“I have been using republic services for 7 years and I’m just completely done with them my rate has doubled over the last 3 years and they said the only way to get it down is to sign a new 3 year contract and they can’t promise me that the price won’t go up again. After numerous phone calls I tried to cancel at the end of my contract which is on the 30th of November finally I got them to cancel and not renew they said my services would end on the 30th I go to put something in my dumpster today the 21st and my dumpster is gone. So they didn’t even tell me they were gonna take my dumpster so I didn’t have time to switch to a different company. Left a horrible taste in my mouth. I’m switching to Atlantic waste and I suggest you do the same do not use republic services they don’t care about your business and will give you the runaround don’t waste your time.”

“No pick up on my trash day. Tried calling got someone across the country despite calling local area code. Said they would try and get someone here in 4 days. Couldn't tell me why it wasn't picked up. Could only tell me nothing was scheduled for me yesterday despite Thursday pick up every Thursday for several years.”

“My trash pick up day is every Tuesday. For whatever reason - driver did not pickup. Called three times to get this re-scheduled - still a no show with the service. Had to make a fourth call was issued a credit for the non-pick up - no problem with that at all. Ladies in the office super nice - not sure what's going on with the folks doing the pickup's.................they dropped the ball big time!”

“Huge waste of time... The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because Customer Service does their best to handle issues with you on the phone. They put the order in but there is usually no follow through after that. Be prepared to call back several times. Also ask if there are any additional fees, even if they say no, be prepared to see them on your statement.They have charged me for replacing the trash container THEIR truck driver broke. I cancelled services with them and they charged me a removal fee for picking up their OWN trashcan! Twice, without informing me of the fee beforehand. There are plenty more efficient and more affordable companies you can go with in the area.”
