“Do NOT use this company. Extremely unprofessional and completely unreliable with scheduling. They delivered the dumpsters 24–48 hours later than requested and then took over a week to pick one up, during which time others dumped their trash in it. When we reported it, American Dumpster blamed us and said we had to empty it ourselves—even though their delay caused the issue. They also parked the dumpster on the front lawn (on the grass) and the container itself was in poor condition, with holes and buckling throughout. Despite promising to call before drop-off or pickup, they never did. To make matters worse, they charged my card an extra $140 a month later for supposedly keeping the dumpster an additional seven days—the same seven days they failed to collect it after we called for pickup. Avoid this company at all costs.”
“I rented a dumpster from American Dumpster for a clean-out project and everything went perfectly. The pricing was clear, drop-off and pickup were right on schedule, and the driver was courteous and careful with placement. Highly recommend them for anyone who wants quick, reliable dumpster service.”
“UPDATE: They called me to argue with me about this review! How unprofessional and rude. If I could give 0 stars I would! This company dropped a dumpster in my driveway in stead of on the street and BLOCKED ME IN FOR SEVEN DAYS! I’ve been unable to go to work, the store, ANYWHERE for an entire week because of my car being blocked in. Have called the company for five days now with NO PICK UP AND NO SUCCESS. They are rude on the phone and pass the buck off on whoever they can to avoid the issue. They do not care they have cost me wages and almost my employment. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!”
“My cleints sellers used this company as they were moving out. We had an agreement to move the dumpster on Friday 2/28. The company did not come for 5 days after to pick up the dumpster causing the new owners problems because they couldn't move their moving trucks on the premises due to this unit being in the way. The new owners wanted to have the dumpster towed at the cooping agents expense. This was very frustrating because I had personally called the company about 4 times. The seller had called them at least 5 times. The new owner called them countless of times and well as the cooping agent. Only after I called and expressed that the new buyers was fed up and was about to tow the unit did they finally get someone out there to move it. This was a very frustrating process for everyone involved. The guy on the phone was laughing and joking at the situation as if it wasn't a big deal. I expressed to him that is was and the the new owners can and will have his unit towed at the his expense.”
