DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. We have had nothing but horrible experiences with them. We were quoted $150 per quarter, but when the bill came around to renew for the next quarter there were added fees for fuel and maintenance and environmental impact making the bill close to $200 instead of the originally quoted price. The whole time we had service with them the trash pick up guys would leave the can open and when it rained it would fill with water and have to be dumped out, they would leave the can in the middle of our driveway to where you literally couldnt pull into our house. I called to cancel service and explained that I was unhappy - and they said it was cancelled. The day came for them to pick up the can and they did not so I called and was literally laughed at on the phone because "the guy who does that is really busy". The can sat outside our house on the curb for 3 weeks. Not to mention - we still were receiving bills from them to renew service for the quarter. I called and asked for written confirmation that my account was closed and was sent a screenshot of the screen showing that they had lost my account. Today - I received another email from them saying my account was past due and that I was in danger of my services being cut off. WHEN I LITERALLY CANCELLED SERVICE A MONTH AGO AND THEY PICKED UP THE CAN YESTERDAY. It has been a HORRIBLE experience and if anyone asks for trash recommendations in the area I will be sure to tell them NOT TO PICK WASTE CONNECTIONS.

We recently moved to the area and my fiancé set up an account with Waste Connections. We were told the service would be $150 quarterly, so we expected a bill around April or May. When May came and we still hadn’t received anything, we called Waste Connections multiple times between May and July. Each time, we were told we had no balance due. After our last call in July, we assumed we must have misunderstood and that payments were billed yearly instead of quarterly. Then, on November 11, a Waste Connections truck showed up to repossess our garbage can—with zero communication from the company beforehand. The driver was very friendly and professional and let me speak with someone in the office (I believe her name was Ashley). Unfortunately, that call was a completely different experience. She was rude from the start, snapping at me for “not paying our bill” and refusing to give me even a few days to pay until my next paycheck. She said, “You’ve had a year of free garbage pickup,” and blamed us for their setup mistake. I explained that we called multiple times earlier in the year and were always told there was no balance due, but instead of fixing their error or even sending an email, their first action was to send a truck to take our bin. None of this was our fault. We called multiple times to verify if there was a balance and were repeatedly told there wasn’t. After all that, we were met with rude, unprofessional customer service after they finally tried calling us once—months later—with no prior email or mail notice. Their own worker set up the account incorrectly, and instead of owning that mistake, they treated us poorly because of it. The only positive is that they only charged us for July–December, but even so, paying nearly $600 a year for service and being treated this way over their own mistake is unacceptable. We’ll be switching to another company.

These people allow their truck drivers to obstruct the entire roadway. Worst customer service experience in my 57 years. Screw these people. No wonder people on my trash routes are leaving Waste Connections in droves. Everyone complains about the lack of, or poor, service.

They crashed my trash can with the claw that is on side of the truck and refusing to replace it ( have video footage on file). Now that they got the new trucks they also act like they can't get out of that truck and get the other garbage bags they're laying beside the trash can. And when you call them you never can get on the damn phone.( picture is of inside trash can)

Services were supposed to be 150 every 3 months turns into 175 every 3 months . And they processed a payment from my card 3 days before the due date causing me to go negative in my account and have NO money for the remaining of the week. There version of helping ? Not doing anything to help saying it’s not there fault I had my stuff on auto pay, even though it wasn’t due for 3 days. Staff is rude and HELPLESS. DONT WATSE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
