“Let me start with the good. The booking process was simple, and David was very kind, providing a reasonable estimate for full-service junk removal. He took the time to answer all my questions and helped me make the best decision for our needs. On the day of the removal, Trystan traveled all the way from Montana to Idaho to clear out some much-needed garbage from my great-grandmother’s property. Despite being alone, he worked incredibly hard and put in a great effort to load a significant amount of junk. Unfortunately, their truck experienced serious mechanical issues, forcing them to leave it parked overnight. However, both David and Trystan returned the next day and made sure everything was removed, which I truly appreciated. Their commitment to finishing the job, despite setbacks, was commendable. Now for some areas that could use improvement. While scheduling was easy, there was a communication gap. Our original appointment was for Monday, but I received a call Sunday night to reschedule. When I called back, the phone greeting wasn’t clear, making the interaction feel a bit awkward. After rebooking for Thursday with an agreed arrival time between 10:00-10:30 AM, they didn’t arrive until after 12, and I had to call to confirm they were still coming. When they had to return Friday due to the truck breakdown, there was no clear timeframe given, which made planning difficult. While I didn’t ask, I feel it would be a professional courtesy to provide a general time window when the customer’s presence is required. Regarding the loading itself, while it was done relatively quickly, I don’t believe it was the most efficient use of space. Since the pricing is based on load size, I expected a bit more care in ensuring the truck was packed in the most economical way to maximize value. Additionally, the homeowner added a significant amount of extra trash on the day of removal, but she wasn’t informed about the additional cost until after it was already loaded. While this wasn’t Jedi Junk’s fault, a quick conversation beforehand could have prevented the surprise charge and the stress that followed. She might have prioritized removing the most urgent waste first if she had known. Overall, I really appreciated David going above and beyond to make sure everything was settled, and I was happy to pay the remaining cost just to have the job fully completed. At the end of the day, Jedi Junk did what they were hired to do, and I appreciate their hard work. With some improvements in communication and loading efficiency, they could easily be a 5-star service.”
