“I think it’s important that everyone know that liberty dumpster service is a broker. We called and ordered a dumpster for Monday morning. They told us we would have it Monday morning and it showed up at 12:05 in the afternoon. This isn’t our first rodeo and we estimated that we had approximately six to a maximum of 8 ton. So they advertise a 30 yard dumpster for $235 and I believe you get 3 ton with that price. In fine print you will find any thing over that is $.15 a pound, that comes to $300.00 a ton. The landfill will run approximately $40 a ton to dump. Well, needless to say we were shocked when we got a bill for $3300. They said that we had 11 ton in the dumpster. I know we didn’t have anything close to that when we called to challenge it we explain the situation and then mention that we were concerned that dumpster could have gone somewhere else, because it wasn’t full and more was added to it. Then they offered a 25% discount. The company that brought us the dumpster was a local company, and they asked why we didn’t just order locally. I told him I didn’t know liberty was a broker. Their fee would’ve been $650 for the dumpster and $100 a ton over 5 tons. So let’s go with the 11 ton. Their fee would have been $1250.00 not $3300.”
