“AVOID using them. They use shady business practices and you will be sorry. My most recent story: Yesterday I received a call from Elizabeth from El Paso Disposal (Waste Management) saying that my agreement is too old and they just need an update on the information. My agreement was 5 years old and it was due in 6 months. It was originally 3 years and because I missed the 30 day notice before the renewal I am stuck with another 3 years at whatever price they want to set. Turns out the update was NOT just an update, it is a new agreement altogether increasing my term 5 years with another 5 year extension and increasing my price. When I asked to cancel my current agreement Elizabeth said I needed to speak to the sales representative. She was able to commit me for 10 years, but not to cancel. There are other good hauling companies out there. I recommend Rio Grande Waste. Avoid El Paso Disposal. EDIT: Calling your customer service number is useless. All you get is a rude person that either sends you online and refuses to transfer or give you the number of your account manager. El Paso Disposal makes you wait until they are ready to call you back... This is part of the worst customer service experience. I am surprised they "take pride in being the best." This tells me the problems comes from up top.”
“Elizabeth Escobedo is amazing! I rented a dumpster, and she made everything easy for me. Not expensive either. Also Robert is awesome, he comes to deliver and pick uo the dumpsters.”
“Very disappointed! First of all and most important, the customer service is rude. My trash was not picked up so I called to see what was the reason for that. And the rude "customer service" I spoke to asked me what time I put the bins out. I told her around 7. And she tells me Oh no ma'am they have to be out by 5 am. By the time u took them out the service driver had already passed. You will have to wait til next week. Funny thing is that my 10 neighbors that use the same company hadnt had their bins emptied yet!”
“I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service with this company. Payment lapsed 30 days and they claimed to send the bill to collections. I got this over email (they attempted to call the wrong number to get a hold of me) and I worked with Monica to resolve payment. I came to realize this payment was just for June and July because services had been cancelled. After letting her know that I'd be happy to pay September, I was just looking for a credit for the month of August where we didn't receive services. After showing me proof it was communicated on the portal that services were cancelled (of which I wasn't disputing) she said that I was still responsible for paying for the services even if we didn't receive them. She is now saying that it's not a big deal, she will just send it to collections - it's our choice. All I want to do is pay my bill and receive services.”
“Ive been with this service for a month and have only been serviced two times. Ive called multiple times and all I get is a lousy apology saying they will get it next time. Entire street has not been picked up even after they told us what day. Wish we could change my own trash service.”
