“I initially contacted the business to ask a question about cities that they service (namely Inglewood). I pressed “1” for information and a rep quickly answered. After asking my question the rep said “Yes we do. But let me transfer you to sales” and quickly completed the cold transfer before I could ask any additional questions or agree to the transfer. I was then connected with a nice gentleman named Rob who confirmed my city is serviced. He also provided information regarding best size dumpster for my needs and quoted me a price. I advised Rob I was “shopping around” to obtain quotes at this point and he offered to take a $100 deposit - which I declined since I hadn’t made a decision yet. Overall, this customer service experience wasn’t negative, however my recommendation would be to ensure agents/ reps do not transfer callers without their permission or before confirming if they have any other questions. Also, if a caller says they are in the “shopping around” phase it might be a good idea to hold off on attempting to collect deposits. I hope this feedback is helpful.”
