“The driver caused damage to my driveway curb and the problem was never resolved. I called the company for over a month and never got a response from the owner who claimed he would get back to me. I ordered over 30 dumpsters from them this year. I am a home builder in Rye, New York and will share my experience with the other builders and homeowners in the town. UPDATE: I Spoke with the owner of the company regarding this matter after several weeks of trying to contact a supervisor at the office. He called me after I posed this review on google to clarify that he was not interested in taking care of the damaged curb that his company caused. He then said that if I did not remove my google review, that he would have himself and his friends write negative reviews about my company even thought he or any of his comrades have never contracted me to do any work. He then hung up the phone. This matter could easily have been dealt with. Even if he was unable to repair the damaged driveway, a simple courtesy call 4 weeks prior to my google review would have been suffice. I spoke with another carting company who I use on all my new projects in westchester county and they told me that they typically would work with the homeowner or contractor regarding fixing any damaged property. Up until this point, I was pleased with Mr Cheapee service. However, after no response regarding the damages followed by a threatening phone call, I could no longer use them.”

“I’ve ordered two dumpsters over the last year or so and both times there have been discrepancies with pricing over the phone. The first was an unspoken surcharge for distance when their company address is in Lagrangeville and the dumpster was ordered to beacon. The second time the price per ton if you go over was different over the phone from what was seen on the bill. Their weight limits are low because they want you to go over so they charge an unfair price of subsequent tons. The dumpsters become more expensive than other local better options like recycle depot. Not to mention the damage the trucks did to my lawn. Will not be using again.”
