“This company is horrible!! I moved to a neighborhood that had this business as part of an HOA and they setup my account for the wrong address. I have called 10+ times to get the incorrect address closed to which everyone assures me that it is but then I received a collections email stating it was still open and money was owed. DO NOT use this company if you can avoid it. It's worth paying more to use a different company with better customer service.”

“Jan 2, 2026 Thank you for your response. I have written into your email provided with all the details. Also tried calling today into Republic services today and no luck - again wait times and music. Could I please have the courtesy of an email to get my cancellation of services across. I am prepaid so please let me know last date of service and what to do with the cans. Thanks again for your support. Dec 30, 2025 Wait times for customer services very poor and unable to get through; multiple missed garbage pick ups. Not recommended at all. Time for a change. Just called competitor and 35% cheaper and fast customer service. Still on hold to cancel at republic services. May need to visit local branch.Can you please provide me with the manager email for Eden Prairie, MN. Thank you.”

“If I could give them zero stars I would. They were charging us almost $500 another company offered it for under $100 for the same size bins and collection days. When I asked why such a significant price difference they only then offered a discount after we have used them for 5 years. So this whole time you could have dropped the price for us by $300, but simply didn't do it because we didn't ask? It feels shady like we hope you don't notice the price so we can make money off you. I of course get that that's something we could of asked, but you expect the discount or promo to be like $50 bucks not $300. We switched services and had our bins scheduled for a pickup date, but they never showed up and then when we called them again they said well when they tried a different day to grab the bins cars were in the way.... well yeah because you didn't come on your scheduled pick up dates so we had to carry on as usual and park in our allotted spots. Over all just not impressed with their customer service or their business practices.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever experienced this level of incompetence with from service provider. Our city uses Republic for recycling and organics, so I decided - hey, why not keep things consistent and use them for trash and yard waste? Won’t that make things easier? HA. I receive my first bill, and go online to set up bill pay. I enter the account number ON MY INVOICE and it says that account does not exist. I enter my address, and it then links with the services provided through my city, which is apparently an entirely different account than my trash and yard waste. I am now unable to set up bill pay online, because it is only linked to the account where payment is managed by the city. I call their customer service, and the rep there also is unable to link both of my accounts. She submits a ticket. That was literally yesterday. In the meantime, I had requested that they drop off an organics bin (coordinated by the city). And today, instead of dropping off the organics bin they TOOK our trash bin, didn’t drop off organics, and cancelled our service??? So I just spent 41 MINUTES on the phone with their customer service, during my workday, trying to figure out why this happened, and why it was not flagged to me that my service had allegedly been cancelled on November 7 when I was on the phone with a representative yesterday for 15 minutes! And the cherry on top is, even though it turns out it was cancelled by a mistake THEIR REP made when I was getting my account set up, and we will simply not have a trash bin for a full week (no exceptions, they only deliver bins on pickup days!), we’re not getting any form of credit or reimbursement for the inconvenience. We are just “not getting charged while we don’t have service.” Okay, but I WANT SERVICE THAT REPUBLIC IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE DUE TO AN ERROR REPUBLIC MADE. We are actively looking into options to switch and I wish I had read more reviews prior to getting set up with them. OH WAIT, THERES MORE! After being on the phone with the rep for 41 minutes, and confirming at least 10-15 times that they mistakenly took our TRASH bin, not recycling, TRASH – I just got an email thanking me for setting up every other week recycling service! I have no words.”
