“My first time at RSSL and the service was GREAT! The young lady at the booth named Hia (not sure about the spelling) was very helpful in providing information about Santee residents passes and about the hard hats. It was a Saturday and I came back on Monday with my utility bill to get a pass. I also bought the hard hats that are required for entry. The lady at the office and another lady at the booth with short white hair were very professional and attentive to our needs. The ladies go out of their way to help the customer which I was very grateful! It’s a long way to go up the hill but did not have any issues. The young gentleman at the end of the road was nice enough to direct us where to drop off our trash and park. Leaving the landfill was not bad but you need to be careful for incoming trucks. Everything was very organized and great service indeed! The smell is not that bad but I still wore a mask. Thank you!”

“Been coming here for months. They used to weigh in and out, or just flat rate of $85 for my 4x8 trailer. When I came with my 5x10 trailer they said $150 flat rate, I asked if I could be weighed in and out they said no. Not sure why anyone might come here anymore. Their prices are based on what the weigh master is feeling that day, just a week before I brought my friend’s 8x10 trailer and they weighed us in and out, it was $110. In contrast, EDCO charges $90 flat rate if I’m underweight. The most I’ve ever payed at EDCO has been $130 for extremely heavy loads.”

“This rating is for the STAFF ONLY. I had great customer service experiences from the person (sorry, can remember his name) I called last week who gave me rate and general info... to the lady working the front gate Saturday morning 12/29/18 (again, didn’t get her name, but she was very nice). The attendant who guided my truck to drop off point, I believe his name was Orlando, was excellent. You guys need more people like Orlando. He saved me from almost driving over a very big nail, and treated me with kindness & respect. It’s very rare to go anywhere nowadays and get great customer service from every employee you make contact with. But today I did. Now.... I do believe $70 to dump a small pickup load of household refuse is way to much. But that is not the employees fault, so I did not factor it into my rating. Thanks again to Orlando and the rest of the Sycamore Landfill staff!”
